Chinese Astronaut First Spacewalk 中国航天员翟志刚实现首次太空行走
Chinese astronaut Zhai Zhigang performed the nation's first spacewalk on September, 27, 2008. With the 15-minute spacewalk, China became the third country to master the extravehicular activity (EVA) technology following the United States and Russia.

The first EVA was carried out by Alexey Leonov on March 18, 1965 from the Voskhod 2 spacecraft.
In 2003 China sent its first astronaut Yang Liwei into space aboard the Shenzhou 5 spacecraft.
